Superficially, this movie from 1981 is a World War Two movie. In actuality, it is a soccer movie. The premise is that a group of Allied POWs form a soccer team and they end up playing the German national team in Paris. This movie is full of real-life famous soccer players, some of whom attempt to act! The cast includes Pelé, the most famous player to ever live, so what’s not to like?
